Ash Brightwell
Ash Brightwell (They/She) has been teaching yoga since 2015 but has been involved in dance and movement their entire life. They completed Wake Up Yoga’s 250 hour teacher training in 2015 and became certified to teach Yin and Restorative with My Vinyasa Practice’s online program in 2020. Ash has taught various styles of classes, workshops, and private offerings for a range of ages, body types and experiences and excels at guiding ALL students with clear, descriptive verbal queues.
Ash's teaching style is focused on helping their students feel good in their bodies and minds. They believe that yoga is a powerful tool for connecting with your breath and refocusing the mind. Ash's classes are designed to help students meet themselves as they are in each moment, with acceptance and compassion.
In addition to their focus on mindfulness and self-acceptance, Ash's classes also inspire creativity. They believe that yoga can be a powerful tool for unlocking creative blocks and helping students tap into their inner artist. As a performance artist themself, Ash loves to spark inspiration and break down the walls of insecurity. When not in the studio or (literally) clowning around, you can find Ash taking walks with their dog, Pearl, curled up with a book and their two cats, Flapjack and Sophie, or watching movies with their partner, Lee.
