Everyone can benefit from private pilates, yoga, or barre! One-on-one instruction allows the instructor to tailor the full session to you - whether you’re recovering from an injury, whether you are new to a particular modality and want to gain confidence before joining group classes, pregnant or postpartum, or you just would like to be able to pause and ask questions and get adjustments from the instructor. Sessions typically last 60 minutes. Please arrive at least 5 minutes early to put your belongings in a locker, use the restroom if needed, and get settled in. We recommend taking advantage of our 15 Minute Consult, to talk to your instructor ahead of your first session to go over any injuries, concerns, goals, and specific areas you’d like to focus on. During the first session, the instructor will evaluate your fitness level, mobility, and discuss goals so they can develop a personalized workout. Our expert instructors will guide you through different sequences every time to keep challenging you as you move towards your goals and set new ones. Instructors may use a variety of equipment, including yoga props, light weights, pilates equipment, or just body weight.

All privates are held at our Spring Garden Studio (located at 1822 Spring Garden Street in Philadelphia), in one of three dedicated rooms.
At this time we are not offering private instruction offsite.

We currently offer private sessions for individuals and duos. For groups of 3 or more people, please check out our Corporate Events & Parties Page.
We offer Private Training in the following modalities:

One-on-one and Semi-Private Cancellation Policy
In order to cancel and receive a credit to your Momence account, you will need to cancel more than 12 hours prior to your session. Cancellations must be done through Momence.
Any cancellations within 12 hours of the session will be considered a late cancel and will result in forfeiture of the credit.. In the event that we can fill your spot with another paying client, we will return the credit to your your Momence account for future use.
If you do not appear for a scheduled session, you will forfeit the credit.
No refunds will be issues for private classes, only credit to your Momence account.
Duo Sessions - If one member of the group needs to cancel, this will result in the session being changed to a private and the client attending is responsible for paying the price difference. If a duo cancellation is more than 12 hours prior to the session, both attendees may fully cancel and reschedule, or receive a credit to their Momence accounts. If the cancellation is within 12 hours prior to a session and both attendees cancel, they forfeit the credits.
Our cancellation policy takes into consideration the time and preparation our instructors put into tailoring individual and duo classes, and that cancellations within the above window generally do not allow us to book in another attendee who otherwise would have been taken that time slot. We thank you for your understanding!
