General Etiquette
Cell phones are not permitted in studios while class is in session. We recommend leaving them in lockers where they are secure. It is a distraction to your fellow class attendees if a cell phone goes off in class.
Please do not bring any food or drink other than water into the studios.
Please be respectful to our staff and the other people taking classes. We are committed to providing a welcoming, safe space for people of all fitness levels, and of all backgrounds, races, ages, shapes and sizes, and sexual orientations.

Cancellations
As of August 1, 2024, our cancellation window is 4 hours.
4 hour notice is required to avoid being charged for your scheduled class. Charge = the class credit is deducted from your package
The class credit will automatically be returned to your account for future use when you cancel more than 4 hours in advance.
Cancellations can be done through the Momence app.

Late Arrivals
At both of our locations, we have a strict 5 minutes grace period. This is so all attendees have the best experience possible without disruptions.
We kindly ask that you respect the safety of your workout, and both our instructors and other clients, by showing up on time for your classes.
At Parrish Street, the door will be locked 5 minutes past the start time. If you arrive and the door is locked, we cannot interrupt class to let you in.
If you arrive more than 5 minutes after a class has started you will not be able to enter, no exceptions.

No-Shows
No-Shows will lose the class credit, and will further be charged a $5 fee.
Fees are charged automatically via Momence to the credit card on file. Please make sure you have checked in with the front desk or via the iPad.
If you attended class and did not check in and were charged a fee, please reach out to info@lumosfitness.com.

Waitlists
Some classes book up further in advance, and we suggest adding yourself to the waitlist if you are interested in attending. By signing up for the waitlist, you are committed to attending if a spot opens up for you.
Clients are moved off of the waitlist in the order from which they were added to it. You can remove yourself from a waitlist at any time. There is NO penalty to remove yourself from a waitlist, and doing so will return the pass back to your account.
When you are moved into the class from the waitlist, you will receive an email or text notification that you have been moved in.

Waitlists (cont'd)
The waitlist moves automatically when someone cancels out of a roster, and will keep moving people in until 60 minutes prior to a class starting. If you are moved in from the waitlist, you are responsible for attending or canceling.
Waitlist Info for Classes before 9:00 AM: For any classes that start before 9:00 AM, our waitlists cuts off at 9 PM the night before and will NOT move anyone in beyond 9 PM. Any cancellations from 9 PM or beyond will just open up spots directly onto the roster!

Workshop & Event Cancellations
In order to cancel and receive either a credit to your Momence account or a credit card refund, you will need to cancel 72 hour prior to the workshop or special event.
Any cancellations within 72 hours of the workshop or event are considered a late cancel and will result in forfeiture of workshop fee paid. In the event of illness or injury, please email info@lumosfitness.com and we will cancel you out - please do not cancel yourself.
In the event that a workshop needs to be rescheduled or cancelled, you will be notified via email prior to the event happening.
