What We Offer at Lumos Green Street
Yoga
Our vinyasa yoga classes will have you exploring awareness and mindfulness, building strength, and exploring the potential of moving with your breath. All yoga classes are unheated.
Barre
Barre classes utilize low impact/high repetition movements, alternating between standing at the barre and mat-based exercises. At Green Street, we also offer Barre + Box - a cardio-infused class that incorporates basic boxing-inspired exercises.
Prenatal
Whether you're early on in pregnancy, closer to your due date, fourth trimester, or beyond - join RaGina for Mama’s LIIT on Thursday evenings and Mama’s Strong on Saturday mornings.
HIIT/Combo
Its LIIT is our branded version of a "HIIT," or "High Intensity Interval Training" workout class. The Works is a core-strengthening workout combining moves from a variety of modalities, including yoga, pilates, barre, and sculpt.
Yoga Sculpt
Yoga Sculpt is a dynamic practice that combines strength training with traditional yoga sequences. We couldn't resist giving ours a Philly spin with the name "Sculpt Jawn!"
Stretching Classes
Taught in accessible and clear language, our "Stretch & Restore" class is great for everyone. Take the time to stretch out fully and safely in this guided stretching class.

The Green Street studio is where is all began back in 2018. You’ll enter into our lobby area, with cozy seating benches and lockers, before stepping into one of the two studio rooms for classes.
Green Street is always buzzing with activity, and we’ve built an amazing community of fitness enthusiasts!
All of our studios have amenities like a bottle filling station and cups, and hand towels, menstrual care products, and hair ties in the bathrooms.

Lumos Green Street FAQs

Green Street offers Vinyasa Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Barre, Yoga Sculpt, HIIT and Combo classes, and Stretching classes. Our weekday schedule consists of 6-8 classes per day, including early morning options, mid-morning and mid-day classes, and three-four evening classes. On weekends, we offer early and late morning classes, and Sunday evening classes.

All of our studios are located in the Fairmount and Spring Garden neighborhoods. The Green Street studio is located at 2001 Green Street - on the corner of Green Street & N. 20th Street.

For Yoga and Stretching classes, wear clothes you are comfortable in and that you can move in! No shoes - barefoot or socks. Complimentary mats are available for use, but we strongly suggest bringing your own mat. Props are provided.
For Yoga Sculpt, we recommend moisture wicking fabrics and full or capri length pants or leggings. Complimentary mats are available for use, but we strongly suggest bringing your own mat. Props are provided.
For Barre, HIIT, and Combo classes, we recommend moisture wicking fabrics, and wearing full or capri-length pants or leggings. Grip socks are required for barre classes. We do have grip socks for sale at this location. Grip socks help you hold positions by gripping the floor for better traction and stability. Barre mats and props are provided.

While we don’t have dedicated weekly beginner classes, we’ve got some recommendations for what classes and instructors are a great place to start.
While all of our yoga instructors teach open-level classes, Josie and Jule particularly enjoy working with beginners and attendees of all ages. Our Stretch & Restore, and Gentle Yoga classes are also a great place to start if you’re new to movement and want a gentle practice.
New to Barre? Vanessa and RaGina love working with beginners and providing lots of options throughout class for all levels!
