Eunmi Chang
Eunmi, a former fashion designer and current fabric artist, immigrated from Seoul, Korea to the United States in 2016. She began studying traditional Buddhist meditative yoga, inspired by her traditional Buddhist upbringing, about 20 years ago while still living in Korea.
Eunmi, a 500 hour RYT, completed her initial 200 hour yoga teacher certification at Wake Up Yoga under Corina Benner here in Philadelphia. Always looking to grow, Eunmi continued her education with 300 hours of study at Aligned Yoga under Briony Smith with a focus on anatomy, advanced postures/poses, pranayama/breathing techniques, and mindfulness. She has also completed her Restorative Yoga Certification at Yoga International under Cyndi Lee to help people relax physically, mentally, and emotionally and to find inner peace in a safe place. Under Tomer Weiss, Eunmi studied Nidra Yoga and achieved her 60 HR Master Certification. Eunmi has also attained her certification in 60 HR Yin Yoga and Myofascial Release Techniques & Acupressure. Lastly, she is 200 E-RYT, who has taught yoga classes for over 1600 HRs, and is a registered YACEP (Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider).
She has also completed her 250HR Sound Healing Certification under Tony Nec in order to help people mend their bodies and mind through the use of sonic vibrations. She specializes particularly in Tibetan Singing bowls and Crystal Bowls as well as combining her sound therapy with Yoga Asanas/Poses, Breath Work, Meditation, and Chakra & Aura Cleansing. Her passion is to create sound vibrations that help people feel relaxed and whole.
With an extensive portfolio featuring over 170 sound healing meditation and yoga workshops/events, she has earned acclaim, even securing a prominent feature in Philly Magazine. Presently, she forges dynamic partnerships with the Fairmount Park Conservancy, UPenn, LBBC and numerous esteemed yoga studios/wellness centers in Philadelphia, PA, underscoring her unwavering dedication to the transformative potential of sound and yoga.
