It’s LIIT
Come and get LIIT! "Lumos Intensive Interval Training" is our branded version of a "HIIT," or "High Intensity Interval Training" workout class.
This 45-minute class is a total-body, high intensity, muscle-toning workout targeted to pump up your heart rate and strengthen your core and stabilizer muscles. Every HIIT class is different because they use a variety of methods, including free weights, body weight, calisthenics, ballistic movements, and resistance style training, while incorporating active periods of rest and recovery.
While this class incorporates high-impact movements, low impact modifications are always provided.
The Works
The Works is a 45 minute full-body, core-strengthening workout fusing moves from a variety of modalities, including yoga, pilates, barre, and sculpt!
This class warm you up with some low impact cardio and yoga-based stretches, then move into a fusion of classic mat pilates and sculpt-based core exercises. Next, you'll work the lower body (glutes and quads), followed by upper body work. Both sections will utilize a series of sculpt, pilates, and barre-based techniques that might call for hand weights, balls or free standing balance work. Class will end with a relaxing stretch and some deep breaths.
