Katie West

Katie is originally from Saratoga Springs, New York, and made her way to Baltimore to attend Loyola University, where she studied English and Education. After graduating, she taught Middle School English in Baltimore before moving to Philadelphia in 2023. Katie received her masters in Education Policy and now works in Education & Curriculum Research.

Katie grew up as a runner (and still spends most of her free time running or walking along the Schuylkill!) and has always had a passion for fitness. After high school, she discovered the joy of group fitness classes. The opportunity to dedicate 45 or 60 minutes to focus on yourself, working hard, being grateful for your body, and connecting with others, inspired Katie to become an instructor. Leading Katie to pursue her certifications in Barre, Yoga Sculpt, and Spin, and she couldnโ€™t be more excited to share her love for movement with you in class!
