Kerry Sheehan

Kerry Sheehan grew up in Wallingford, Pennsylvania, where she began dancing at age 8. She majored in contemporary dance at the prestigious University of North Carolina School of the Arts. Upon  graduation, she moved to Philadelphia, and began dancing professionally, teaching dance, and teaching at Pure Barre. Her passion for fitness grew out of her desire for longevity and strength as a dancer. This passion evolved into a desire to create a positive space for others to explore their own movement goals.

Kerry’s classes prioritize the sensation of movement over any aesthetic goal. A lover of detail, she will encourage you to pay attention to things you might otherwise overlook. You can expect to discover new things and fail graciously along the way!

Kerry’s dance ambitions remain high and she is currently training in vogue and heels dance, and performing in and choreographing contemporary pieces throughout Philadelphia. She has won several awards for her voguing and hopes to continue elevating in this dance style.
