About Chae: Chae began practicing yoga in 2000.  Her love of the nourishing nature of yoga supported continuous exploration of body, mind and spirit in Yoga and Ayurveda, yoga's sister science.  A lover of all things embodiment, along with witnessing life change in her students, self and family inspired studies in Pre-Natal Yoga, Yoga for Aging, Pilates and various exercise modalities.

She has completed 500 Hours Vinyasa Flow Yoga, 500 Hours Himalayan Tradition Yoga, 400 Hours Alignment Yoga, 800 Hours Ayurveda, 85 Hours Prenatal Postpartum Yoga, ACE Certified Personal Trainer and Ellie Herman's Comprehensive  Pilates Trainings.  She has been teaching since 2005, facilitating Yoga Alliance accredited Yoga Teacher Trainings since 2009 and has over 20,000 hours teaching experience.  Expect classes that are informative, soulful and explorative to beats like Orange Sky by Alexi Murdoch.  Her favorite pose is Warrior 3, as it reminds her that life is about balancing between polarities robustly.

Her bucket lists include return visits to India, the roots of yoga and Korea, the roots of her birth.  As an immigrant to Philly in 1975, she enjoys small business eats at Ramona Susan's and Metropolitan bakeries.  When Chae is not studying, playing on a yoga mat, gym or pilates equipment, personal training or home making, you'll find her walking on the beach often with her husband or playing with their cats Joy and Vira.
